EVENT OPERATIONS PLATFORM
Great events.
Less friction.
More control.
The work behind the wow. A connected approach to event technology, remote support and the routines that keep your team moving.
Built around the people behind the scenes.
01 / THE APPROACH
The show is live.
Your support shouldn’t
be an afterthought.
From the registration desk to the control room, event technology has to work for the team using it.
EVOP is shaped around a simple idea: make the operational work easier to repeat, easier to support and easier to hand over. Start with connected devices and clear access. Build dependable routines around them.
Connect the right people
Bring technical expertise closer to the venue, even when your support team is somewhere else.
Make the routine repeatable
Use consistent setup, preflight checks and documented workflows as the foundation for automation.
Keep the handover clear
Know which device needs attention, who owns the next step and what a successful fix looks like.
02 / REMOTE OPERATIONS
On site.
Or on the other side
of the connection.
Remote control and support, with a self-hosted RustDesk relay at the heart of the approach. Help the people on the ground without making every issue a site visit.
A shorter distance
to a helping hand.
RustDesk lets an authorised support person view and control a remote computer. Its relay server carries a session when a direct connection between the devices isn’t possible.
A consistent client setup brings repeatable onboarding, simpler support handovers and a foundation for remote-control workflows. Access stays intentional: agree on the device, the permissions and the task before a session begins.
Prepare your first session↗ Assist an operator without leaving your desk.
↗ Troubleshoot the device, not a description of it.
↗ Standardise setup before the doors open.
03 / THROUGH THE EVENT
One less thing
to improvise.
A practical operating rhythm.
Before, during and after the show.
Find the friction before your guests do.
Confirm connectivity, configure approved remote access and test the actual devices your team will use. Make the recovery steps as clear as the setup steps.
- Label devices and confirm ownership
- Test an authorised support session
- Document the fallback plan
Give the operator a clear next step.
Identify the device and issue, agree on access, then work with the person on site. Remote support should reduce the interruption, not add another layer of confusion.
- Confirm the impact and priority
- Connect with the operator’s approval
- Check the fix in the real workflow
Make the next event easier.
Close temporary access, capture the fix and improve the runbook. Turn what the team learned on show day into a better starting point next time.
- Review temporary access permissions
- Record the cause and resolution
- Update the deployment checklist
04 / GET SUPPORT-READY
Start with a
good connection.
Working with an EVOP operator? Get your device ready, then use the connection details they provide.
Get the RustDesk clientOpens the official RustDesk website.
01 Install the client +
Download RustDesk from the official website for your device. Check with your organisation before installing software on managed equipment.
02 Use your operator’s settings +
Your operator supplies the ID server, relay settings and public key for the intended environment. This website does not publish connection credentials or open a remote session.
03 Agree on access, then connect +
Confirm who is connecting and what they need to do. Use the agreed approval process, supervise the session where appropriate and close temporary access when the work is complete.
